In 2009,
after his dreams of playing professional baseball were shattered, David Klein set out to create

a New Type of Community Baseball and Softball Program.

He ran summer camps, "travel teams," and coached dozens of players who went on to play professional baseball.

Baseball and softball participation nationwide was declining. Youth baseball and softball had become over-competitive and packed with unnecessary pressure. The game was too long, slow and boring.

And in 2015, Legends Academy was born. Offering award-winning, elite coaches to kids of ALL skill levels.

When the pandemic hit, Legends was at risk.

Refund requests poured in and field permits were cancelled.

Following months of iterations,
a New Model For Youth Baseball and Softball was Created.
